About

I’ve been the woman lost in a relationship that wasn’t working, fighting for something that wasn’t right, wondering why love felt so hard. I know what that confusion feels like from the inside — and that’s exactly why I do this work.

My path here was anything but straight.

I started as a theatre major, became a bartender, built a career as a personal trainer, and eventually found my way to becoming a therapist. What connected every chapter was the same thing: I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories — to understanding what makes us who we are, what keeps us stuck, and what helps us become who we want to be.

As a personal trainer, I watched my clients hit wall after wall — not physical ones, but mental and emotional ones. I began to see that lasting change rarely starts on the outside. Until we understand what’s happening within us — our beliefs, fears, patterns, and motivations — changing what we do can be incredibly difficult.

That realization sent me back to school, and eventually led me here.

Then I discovered attachment theory — and everything clicked.

I stumbled upon attachment theory while working on a project for work, and what I found stopped me in my tracks. Not only did I recognize myself in it, I suddenly understood so much about the women I was working with — why they stayed in relationships that didn’t serve them, why they confused compromise with self-sacrifice, struggled to ask for what they needed, and felt love was always something that came at a cost.

Attachment theory gave me a map.

But over time, I realized that understanding our attachment patterns is only the beginning.

Knowing why we stay, pursue, withdraw, people-please, or lose ourselves in relationships can be incredibly powerful. But insight alone doesn’t tell us what we want our relationships — or our lives — to look like.

For that, we have to understand what matters to us. This is where values and boundaries come in.

Our core values help us identify what we want to stand for — in our relationships and within ourselves. They become a compass for the decisions we make, the relationships we choose, what we are willing to compromise on, and what we are not willing to sacrifice.

And then come boundaries. Healthy boundaries allow us to take those values and actually live them. They help us stay connected to another person without abandoning ourselves in the process. They teach us that we can love someone deeply and still have needs, limits, expectations, and a sense of self.

This is the heart of The Attachment Studio

  • Understand the patterns that shape how you connect.
  • Discover the values that ground who you are.
  • Practice the boundaries that allow you to honor both yourself and your relationships.

Because knowing yourself is important. Learning how to show up as that person — especially in love — is where the real work begins.

You might be the woman I’m meant to work with.

You’re balancing everything life throws at you and doing it mostly on your own terms — except when it comes to love. That part still feels complicated.

Maybe you stay too long because leaving feels scarier than staying. Maybe you give more than you receive, struggle to ask for what you need, or worry that having boundaries will push someone away. Maybe you keep finding yourself in different relationships with strangely familiar patterns.

You want love, but you don’t want to lose yourself to have it.

You want to know what matters to you, trust yourself enough to honor it, and build a relationship where you can feel deeply connected to someone else while still feeling grounded in who you are.

That’s where we start.

  • We get curious about the patterns.
  • We define what matters.
  • We practice something different.

And little by little, we create a new way of connecting — one that makes room for both you and the relationship you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. Attachment patterns, values, and boundaries influence many kinds of relationships – including friendships, family relationships, parenting, dating, partnerships, and the relationship we have with ourselves.
